what is wrong with you guys???? you are putting these amazing, beautiful sharks' lives at risk because of your "great adventure". i just saw a clip of a shark being trapped, dragged onto a platform, a huge tube shoved down his throat, and a hole drilled into his fin. what would this "brave" crew think of having the same thing done to them? it would be considered torture. LEAVE THE ANIMALS ALONE!!! people need to WAKE UP!! Animals feel pain and fear. They are not here for our entertainment. Let them live their lives in peace!
GW's are amazing beautiful sharks but little is really known from them. In relative terms, what you described is done in any local hospital on any given day. If we are to protect these fish, more needs to be known. They have to fund this expedition somehow and his shows and series help offset some of the cost. Besides, it does make it more visible to the general public. They have and always will take the fish's best interest and care to heart.
I can't think of a better team of scientists and fisherman to successfully release great white sharks. Great job guys!
