Tell us what your favorite moments of Offshore Adventures are.

Comments:
The moment you posted that the show would airing again!

Can't wait!

Cocos island this year was about as good as it gets, I think that footage is better than Blue Planet.

Panama last year with the wild Black Marlin bite was great too.

I'm dying for the adventures to start up again. I scuba dived off the Florida coast a lot growing up but haven't done it at all for the last 5 years. I miss it a lot and watching your show makes me feel like I'm in the water again. I was afraid the show was cancelled.

Thanks for sharing your adventures with us.

I agree, the Cocos Island shows were the best, the footage and intensity were incredible! When is that season's DVD coming out? The website says Oct 16 but it is not in the online store yet. Also, any information on the name or release of a new show based on the footage from the 7 yr. journey aboard MV Ocean? Hopefully, something in '09?

Wow. i haven't visited this blog until now. I am so touched to know there are people out there that watched our show! We had an AMAZING time every step of the way.
There are so many interesting moments... my god.. well to name a few...Shooting my first amber jack, Watching Sarah freely wander into a little shack with a naked boy and his chicken to play as if it were typical, jumbo squid off Ecuador, Diving with huge schools of hammer heads, visiting with the wonderful people of El Salvador, watching Brett kill something huge time and time again, watching Chris become an amazing freediver, the beauty and rawness of Alaska, getting to know the Go FIsch crew so well you become a family, knowing there are people out there that come on our journeys with us each week from their home and enjoy what we do.

Let's see...there are so many great moments of Offshore Adventures I don't know where to begin. Deckhand, 'Jimmy the Kid' reeling in the yellowfin tuna off the pulpit was pretty insane or the trip at Hannibal Bank when Chris was fighting that marlin into all hours of the night and his reel started to break away from his rod. Or when Melissa put the wood to the guys by catching the first halibut and king salmon in Sitka, Alaska. And I really liked when they visited the town of Oaxaca. And of course the bait ball footage of Cocos Island, and the most recent insane inshore bite for roosterfish at Pinas Bay, Panama. I also liked the inshore bite on Snook in Costa Rica where everyone was on a surfboard or in the skiff. And of course Sarah takes the cake with her first words being "drop-back", and "big fish". Thanks for letting me be a part of the adventures.

Would like to see and hear some more detailed info on the crew, the boat and logistics. Would like to see a detailed tour of the new mothership and specs. Seem to be a bunch of people always around in the backround. Also details on what it takes to run that operation, time between adventures, layover, etc. I loved when you showed the new mothership during the haulout and survey. I would guess you have a fair number of viewers that are not only passionate about fishing but also boat fanatics.

Its so tough picking particular moments as the whole series has been absolutely fantastic!! I have only got up to Season 11 so i would have to say that hot Black Marlin bite that the guys experienced at the Hannibal Banks would have to be a stand out moment for me. AWESOME!!!

& you all will have every oppurtunity to experience something like that again over here off Cairns, Australia!! Would love to see Melissa connected to one of our 1000lb Black Marlin off the reef!

Anytime Melissa out fishes you Chris

There are so many good moments from the show - the big rooster fish in the surf, Melissa freediving and surrounded by the school, taking us back to old school tuna fishing, but the very best and the one that always gets me laughing is the bubble bath in the bucket. That's just too cool and thank you Chris and Melissa for sharing that "parent moment".

Nice to see Melissa make a post on this thread!

Now how do we lure her into posting on the "Cliffhanger" thread??????

Do you know anything girl?

Your web site jumps around like the proverbial "Cat on a hot tin roof" and, in my meager opinion, is a waste of time if a person is serious about navigating your site.clicking on the "tabs" just sends me to pages hawking your products.

I am curious about your "mother ship" OCEAN, nee Artic Ocean. In the past, a great deal of information was avaiable for techies, about "Go Fisch".
Thank you. QUATROCM

Actually it would have been much easier to get the information had I not defaulted subconsciously to Artic (what? Ocean of course! What a dufus! Here's what I found so far on our mystery vessel. BTW, guess the Feds helped finance the purchase of this once venerable artic Ocean fishing vessel. See link:http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/200131_crab18.html

I love the whole experience of your show. To do what you all do would be a dream come true for me. I just ordered the cookbook for my wife. She's a huge fan of the Gourmet Galley portion. Keep up the good work! We'll be watching.

Any moment with Melissa in it. We love you Melissa!!!

Whos daddy had all the money to back this 'around the world fishing lifetime' ? You had to have a hell of a sponser to begin this, let alone a television show, also.

The best show was this season when you guys were fishing off the beach in Mexico i think.

What a great show. My wife and have enjoyed every episode. We hate to see it come to an end. One of the most memorable (besides all the great fish) was the show where Sarah got her bath in a 5 gallon bucket! We have grandchildren who visit us in the Keys, a five gallon bucket now takes on a whole new image!

Love the show and the adventures you share with us.

Oh, and Melissa, you are the cutest woman in the world!

The author of www.offshoreadventures.tv has written an excellent article. You have made your point and there is not much to argue about. It is like the following universal truth that you can not argue with: No one knows the origins of their metal coat hangers. Thanks for the info.

I want to thank the blogger very much not only for this post but also for his all previous efforts. I found www.offshoreadventures.tv to be greatly interesting. I will be coming back to www.offshoreadventures.tv for more information.
