Pinas Bay, Panama Trip

The inshore fishing in Pinas Bay, Panama trip was outrageous. The Crew released 12 roosterfish all at about 60 lbs. each. 6 of which Melissa reeled in herself.

The operation is in transit to Miami where it will reside for the next month. Don't be fooled by the new color of the ship if you see it docked in one of the marinas.

Comments:
Just saw your show on ESPN (June 8, 2008) in which you purport to be fishing in the waters of Cocos Island. That's curious because, though you failed to mention this in your "show", Cocos Island and the waters surrounding it happen to be a Costa Rican National Park and fishing is banned.

So, either you're a fraud or you are no sportsman. In either case, you're a disgrace to the sport of fishing.

If you were, in fact, fishing in Cocos waters, you should be in jail rather than a TV showman. Moreover, all your sponsors should be boycotted should be cancel your show and ESPN. You can be sure, that is exactly the campaign that will begin immediately.

Hey scuba diver, are you a little bitter?

During the show today on ESPN Chris said it was the final episode??? What gives, I thought we had seven more years???

We have watched your show for years. Like stated in other posting we just heard Chris say it was the last show. What about those seven more years? We love your show and hope to continue to experience the excitment.

I hope this wasn't your last show. I am an avid long range fisherman and thoroughly enjoy your show on ESPN. Is your show airing anywhere else?

Hey scuba diver, you sure do sound pissed off. What's up with the tude?

Anyway I suggest you re-watch the three episodes from Cocos island. In the second or third episode Chris clearly states you can not fish within x miles of the island. Some of the live underwater shots with the sharks etc. were taken near the island but there were not fishing there.

I also watched today's episode, June 22nd. Chris gave us the impression that this was the last and final episode.....ever. He then thanked every one for the past 8 years.

What happened to the 7-year around the world journey?

I just watched the show. That would be so sad if we didn't get to see the rest of the trip.

Yes, that goodbye was sort of a surprise. I've been watching the show for several years and would hate to see it go of the air as well.

OSA Crew; Can you help us understand?

Hey Chris,
I tto just saw the las Pinas Bay episode with your sayonara.
Obviously you've got something up your sleeve, but c'mon!
Let the fans in on it, brah.
If we don't get our Offshore Adventures fix we can't be responsible for our actions. lol
Anyway...Godspeed on your amazing voyage and tight lines.

I thought I heard "final episode". What? Please don't tell me it's true... This is one show that my wife and I look forward to every weekend! I thought "we" had seven years of good times in front of us!

Please continue on!

Anything an ex- Coast Guard Quartermaster (Navigator) and kindergarten teacher can help with? We would love to help!!!!

Resume ready!

Keep up the great work!

I don't what is more confusing scuba diver's rant (maybe he just needs a life?) or the "final episode" comment.

My family has been in the fishing industry for decades and we produce a saltwater fishing radio show. I've met dozens and dozens of people in the business and have been part of many different tv shows over the years. Offshore Adventures is the ONLY show I really would want to be a part of or watch. It's hip and cool and fun. No attitudes, no problems. Love the concept of it from a business stand point as well. Not only do I love to watch the adventures but i've made several trips to the various places you guys fish to experience it for myself. I use the recipes on a regular bais. What else could you offer? I don't know but please explain what's going on (and send me David's tortilla soup recipe from the last episode pleeeeeaase!).

Best,
Stephen Moore (Emerald Isle, NC)

Scuba Diver: I think you mixed a little too much Nitrox in with your cheerios! Chill bra. The Offshore Boyz know what they are doing, they talked about the conservation of the Coco's and they always preach about respecting the ocean / environment.

However I feel your pain, my friend. It does get frustratig sitting on the couch watching the boys do their thing and wondering why you didn't think of it first. Beer sponsors, Boat sponsors, food sponsors apparel sponsors..all the goodies to help make you feel worthless with the path you chose in your life. Don't be mad, be happy for these guys at least they are sharing it with you! Feel better now? Okay, you can come off time out now. But stay off the Nitrox!

swmooreunc: You halirious dude! You should send the crew a picture of you with a sign around your neck that says, "Will work for Daivds Tortilla Soup"...it might work!
